April 2025 SNAP Benefits Distribution Dates Released for Every State

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) offers food aid to low-income families every month to help them buy healthy food. To get SNAP benefits, you need to apply in your state and meet certain yearly updated income and resource limits.

SNAP benefits are given through an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card that can be used like a bank card at stores that accept it. Each state decides when to give out these benefits, even though the program is supported by federal funds.
